How do you batch a cocktail for a crowd (and how much water do you add)?
To batch a cocktail, multiply every ingredient in the single-drink recipe by the number of servings, then add the water that shaking or stirring over ice would normally melt into the glass — because a pre-batched drink never touches ice. Work in one unit: convert each pour to millilitres (1 US fl oz = 29.5735 ml), scale it by the serving count, and sum them for the un-diluted mixture. The dilution is set as the water's share of the finished batch — about 25% for a shaken drink, 20% stirred, 10% built over ice — so the water to add is mixture × d ÷ (1 − d): a 1,331 ml shaken mixture at 25% needs 1,331 × 0.25 ÷ 0.75 ≈ 444 ml of water, for a 1,774 ml batch. The batch ABV is the total ethanol (each pour's volume × its ABV) divided by that finished volume, and the standard drinks per serving is the ethanol per serving ÷ 17.74 ml. Example: a Margarita (2 oz tequila, 1 oz triple sec, 0.75 oz lime) times 12, shaken, makes about 1,774 ml — roughly 60 oz or 7.5 cups — at 22% ABV, 148 ml a serving, 1.8 standard drinks each.

What it is
Takes a single-drink cocktail recipe and scales it to a whole party batch. Enter the recipe or load a classic, say how many you're serving or which vessel you're filling, and get the exact pour of every ingredient, the water to add up front, and a bottle shopping list.
Why we built it
Home hosts making a pitcher or punch bowl of one cocktail end up doing the "times eighteen, then how much water?" math in their head at the counter. No focused tool handled dilution, finished-batch strength, and bottle counts together. Batch Pour does that arithmetic on your own numbers, offline, on a quiet speakeasy menu rather than a neon party app.
