Transportation
Which of these is lawful in California, according to the study guide?
Answer
Driving from home to a shooting range with the handgun unloaded in a locked container in the car
An unloaded firearm in the trunk or in a locked container other than the glove or utility compartment is not considered concealed, and practice shooting at target ranges is exempt from the loaded-firearm ban. Carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle in public, or a concealed handgun without a license, is illegal.
