See it run.

About twenty-five seconds of ABG Interpreter & Practice doing its job, recorded straight off the phone. No captions, no voice-over, nothing staged — the same clip the App Store shows.

What it is

ABG interpretation in two taps. Type pH, PaCO2 and HCO3 and the app names the answer in plain words — "partially compensated respiratory acidosis", "fully compensated metabolic alkalosis" — with the ROME walk-through that got there, one row at a time: pH, then PaCO2, then HCO3, then the primary disorder, then the compensation. Then drill graded cases until the pattern is automatic, endlessly or as a scored test of 5, 10, 20 or 30.

Why we built it

Respiratory-therapy and nursing students have to read an arterial blood gas on an exam and on a floor, and the tools that exist either hand back a label with no reasoning or bury it in a subscription. This shows the reasoning, not just the answer, and it is honest about the limits: a normal pH with opposing abnormal values is read as full compensation, and the app tells you plainly that the same numbers can also mean a mixed disorder. Study and exam-prep software, not clinical decision support.
