What it is
A weigh-to-the-gram calculator for home meat curing. Enter the meat weight, pick your salt, sugar, and nitrite percentages, and get exact gram amounts for the scale — with the ingoing nitrite ppm computed live and hard-capped at the federal limit for your product style.
Why we built it
Every home charcuterie batch — bacon, pancetta, coppa — starts with the same percent-of-weight arithmetic, and hobbyists re-derive it from forum threads and blog comments every time. The cure component is safety-critical: a decimal place separates a correct batch from a hot one. A trustworthy, gram-exact calculator with real regulatory limits built in was the gap.
