What it is
A trainer for reading and plotting Military Grid Reference System (MGRS) grid references. A synthetic topo map shows a target and you read its 4-, 6- or 8-digit grid, or plot a given grid by tapping. It also includes a full lat/lon to MGRS and UTM converter.
Why we built it
Reading a grid reference is a real, tested land-navigation skill, but the apps for it are either quiz banks that go stale or map tools that never drill you. This pairs deterministic, always-correct drills with a converter you can actually trust in the field, closing a narrow gap for soldiers, search-and-rescue volunteers, and orienteers.
