Tex. Ins. Code §542.055(a) imposes all three duties inside the same 15-day window. If the acknowledgment is not made in writing, the insurer must record the date, manner, and content of it (§542.055(c)); an eligible surplus lines insurer has 30 business days instead of 15 days.
